We (alongside the rest of the UK) have been having a pretty mixed bag of weather recently. However, motivation is still high and post-work missions have once again become the flavour of the day as there is no guarantee it'll be dry on your days off!
Highlights have included a roped ascent Soap on a Rope (E4 6a) on the Bathtime Wall, Vivian Quarry. For years I'd wanted to solo this, but in retrospect I'm glad I didn't - although there are a couple of hard sections low down that would be fine to fall off, the hard move just below the top would be a complete gripper (pictured below)!!!

- 2 x DMM Shadow Quickdraws and
- 1 x DMM 11mm x 60cm Sling were used!
- Although we don't stock water wings any prospective climbers anticipating a fall should think about researching whats available.
- Yellow Grivel Airtech Helmet and stylishly coordinated yellow shirt are optional!
